MRAS is located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, operating in a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility situated on 180 acres – where the company and its predecessors have designed, built and equipped civil and military aircraft for nearly 90 years.
In addition to MRAS’ design, development and manufacturing resources, the company provides technical support and spares services for its products.
In September 2018, it was announced that MRAS will be acquired by Vision Technologies Aerospace Incorporated (VT Aerospace) – the U.S. subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. Subject to regulatory approvals and conditions, this proposed acquisition is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2019.
